NIYA Management was founded in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2012 by Niya Boyakin, a former international model and artist. Originally from Seattle, Niya moved to Salt Lake to finish her bachelor’s degree at the University of Utah. While here, she saw the potential of a lot of great talent, but noticed there was something lacking in the local talent agencies. She decided to do something about it and established NIYA Management, a different kind of agency.
For the last ten years and counting, NIYA Management has been changing up the game and has built a reputation for having the best and most diverse talent in the state. Our agency focuses on scouting, development, and placement of models all around the world. We also represent kids, families, and actors, as well as lifestyle models for the local market. Thanks to a strong Utah presence and great relationships with all of the local companies here, we regularly book actors in tv and film projects, like SAG films that premiered at Sundance, co-starring roles on Paramount’s series Yellowstone, Olivia Rodrigo’s music video Drivers License, and High School Musical to name a few. We’ve also booked many print campaigns shot locally such as Cotopaxi, VSP, Prada Ski, OC Tanner, WAS HIM by Tan France, Obermeyer, Columbia, and many, many more.
The models we’ve scouted and placed have worked with or walked for the brands SKIMS, Fendi, Balmain, Coach, Prada, Zara, Patagonia, the GAP, Forever 21, Dior, Balenciaga, Hugo Boss, Tom Ford, Versace, Alexander McQueen, and many other commercial and high-end fashion companies. We are the only agency in the state of Utah listed on Models.com and have scouted models featured on there, like Dylan Fender, a Top 50 Male Model in the World, Annie Tice, Sam Saba, and Colin Jones. We’ve also launched and manage the careers of several other worldwide models. We’ve placed models in Miami, New York City, Los Angeles, Milan, London, Paris, Athens, Barcelona, Mexico City, Seoul, and Sydney. And we’re just getting started.

From previously winning Best of State in 2016 to Niya earning a spot in 30 Women to Watch in Utah Business Magazine during 2020 at the height of the pandemic, we will continually strive to scout top models and book the best talent in the state.
